Our DNS booth at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair! Our kid-friendly activities were a hit! Thanks to Stephanie Nishi for organizing our volunteer team!

A fantastic Edna Park Lecture tonight delivered by Dr. Cutberto Garza from Boston College. The lecture was preceded by an awesome Meet-and-Greet, where Dr. Garza talked about career-searching; about pursuing a passion that is not only realistic but a passion that allows you to have the largest impact on the world in your capacity. We discussed the definition of success and the importance of life-balance. Lots of food for thought, and a final vote of confidence from Dr. Garza that Nutrition is a good field to be in. That hour really flew by.

The NSGSA is happy to be participating in the Royal Winter Fair again this year. The fair runs from Nov. 1 - 10, and it looks like a lot of fun! Check it out if you have a chance, and thanks to everyone who has signed up to volunteer.
