Help promote nutrition awareness for children at the NSGSA booth that will be set up at the fair, held at Exhibition Place, from November 2nd to the 11th. The booth includes fun interactive activities to help promote healthy eating habits in children. This is also a great opportunity to also enjoy what the fair has to offer, as you’ll get a chance to walk around and explore while you’re there!
Just click on this link and select times and dates that best work for you. For now, we are trying to have two shifts per day (each 6 hours long) with two people tending to the booth per shift.
The Royal is the largest indoor agricultural event in the world where farmers, growers, producers and homesteaders have come from all over Canada to exhibit their very best agricultural products and livestock. There are horse shows, dog races, a petting zoo, educational booths, butter sculpting, a world of gastronomic delights to savour (including maple syrup, honey, cheese, butter tarts, and jam contests), and more! (For more info visit their website)
If you are volunteering one or two days, you will receive day passes. If you are volunteering more than two days, you will receive a five-day pass, and if you volunteer more than 5 days you will receive a pass for the entire fair. The multi-day passes work on days you won’t be volunteering as well! Bonus!
For more information please contact Madyson.
Thank you and hope to see many of you there!
