Ceramics Workshop Feb 15
Learn the art of ceramics by joining your fellow students at the Gardiner Museum!
At this private workshop, we’ll be learning the techniques of wheel-throwing to make our own creations and leaving them at the museum to be fired up.
We’ve added a second workshop on Feb 15th, 6:30-8:30pm, since the first date (Feb 8) is sold out! Fee is $10/person.

Nutritional Sciences alumni working in academia, the private sector and a government agency, will provide insights into the journey of how they got the great careers they have now. Anyone thinking about careers following their nutritional sciences degrees or would like to re-connect with fellow alumni are welcome.

Join us at 6:15 pm for a career panel hosted by Nutritional Sciences Alumni Association President, Laura Pasut. Networking reception with light refreshments to follow.

Meet & Greet with Edna Park Keynote Speaker

Join us at the Meet & Greet with this year’s Edna Park Lecture keynote speaker, Dr. Connie Weaver. The Meet and Greet will take place several hours before the lecture, on Nov. 8th from 3:30 to 4:30 pm at MSB 5254.

Dr. Weaver’s research interests include mineral bioavailability, calcium metabolism, and bone and cardiovascular health. The title of her lecture is “The Role of Diet in Preventing Osteoporosis.”
