Hospital Representative

Sarah Rae
“I am currently entering my second year of a Master’s of Science degree at the University of Toronto, supervised by Dr. Catherine Birken, a clinician scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children. My research surrounds early childhood obesity, more specifically the importance of anthropometric measurement accuracy for child BMI. I am also involved in research regarding the feasibility and effectiveness of obesity prevention interventions in early childhood. Before starting my Master’s degree, I had completed a Bachelor of Health Science with a major in Kinesiology and a double minor in Biological Sciences and Forensic Psychology. Last year I held the role of the First Year Representative for the NSGSA and I am extremely excited to take on my new role as a Hospital Representative. I look forward to working with the team to deliver virtual events and many engaging experiences!”
